This dual polarity switch is important, because in rare instances an individual may become nauseated or light-headed during a "Cleansing" session and this can be remedied quickly by moving the switch to the "Energy" setting for a couple of minutes.
For healthy adults we recommend 30 minutes on the "Cleansing" setting and 10 minutes on the "Energy" setting. However, it is not uncommon for many individuals to do a 5 to 10-minute energy session on a daily basis.
